Trip to Florida - DayTwenty five - Monday, March 19, 2018 - Carrabelle

I think this was the rainiest day that we've had since we've been here. It really came down with thunder and lightning too. It seems that Monday has become our errand day so it was a good day to do wash, clean up the condo so it's ready when Dave and Deb come on Wed., and make pasta salad to take to tonight's potluck dinner. We also went to the library to return the two books I had read over the weekend and to get some other reading material. The most important task of the day though was to book a place for next March. We went to talk to Nan at Sunny Beach Rentals and she gave us the lockbox combo to check out Sandpiper Quay, which is a single house right on Old Carrabelle Beach. While at first we thought this might be a good option, it has a washer and dryer, in the end we decided that the condo we have now meets our needs best. It is also $300 cheaper, the inside is more updated, it is within walking distance to lots of things, and the laundromat is right across the street. So we will be back here next year - Lord willing! We went to the potluck dinner again and the usual gang was there. This is how we can keep up with what's going on locally. Came home and spent a quiet evening watching the Monday night line-up.

Tried to take some pictures at the potluck but it was too dark.
