At 9:00 this morning it was only 38 degrees so
we waited awhile before heading out. Our first stop was the Crooked River
Lighthouse but the museum wasn’t open today. It’s close by though and we go by
it often so we’ll just go another time. Then we went to Tate’s Hell High Bluff
trail to get our walk in. I have to say though that I’m very apprehensive on
these walks because at every trailhead they have bear warnings and what to do
if you encounter a bear. I know screaming isn’t one of the things so I’m probably
in trouble. By the time we finished we had walked 4.8 miles. I definitely got
my steps in today. Then we went to check another trailhead so that we can do a
longer walk in the coming days. From there we stopped at the Visitor's Center to
get more information on places to see in the area. We’ll be busy until we
leave. Came back to the condo to shower and went to 2 Brother by the Beach for Taco Tuesday.
The restaurant is nothing to look at but the service was fast and the people
very nice. After dinner we went to Carrabelle beach to watch the sunset. It’s getting to be a habit. With the time change we have to wait a little later
for it though.
