Started our day with Sunday breakfast - bacon, eggs and toast so we were ready to take on the day. We drove to St. George Island State Park and spent the day at the beach. It was supposed to be 76 in Carrabelle but it was much cooler near the water with the breeze. I kept my sweatshirt on most of the time but the sun was hot and we all got some tan or sun burn. We walked the beach, read, did puzzles and collected shells. Just a nice relaxing day. After our day at the beach we went and checked out the campgrounds at the park and stopped at the T-shirt shop on the main drag on the island. Deb and Dave bought something but Ron and I had already been there so we went across the street to get a closer view of the Cape St. George Lighthouse and Keeper's House. We stopped for dinner at a new spot just after you get off the bridge on Rt. 98 - the Red Pirate. Ron and Deb had blackened fish sandwiches, Dave a burger and I had BBQ pork sandwich with fried pickles - yum. We watched the Duke game while there but it went into OT. Unfortunately my Dukies are done for the year. Deb and I went out on the Tillie Miller Bridge to take some sunset pictures and walked back to the condo. Now it's "Wine Time" so gotta go!
